took my heart away Ivan 'Vern' Poh from URL @ 11:22 PM i was preparing some stuff yesterday, way way late, something quite cool. showed garrett today and we had plans so it's amazing. well, that made me feel really amazed about things that are going on. way cool way cool. something Pastor How shared that was so powerful i must tell everybody. Culture v.s. Convictions. to the point, we have a strong culture in church, you will be spiritual, love God, read bible, pray because you are in the culture you are spiritual and everything else. true convictions only show when you are removed from the culture. for example i am taken away and put in malaysia or something. do i continue the way i am? or do i not? that's the clear distinct difference in culture and convictions. i see men as chameleons. some of them are whatever good they are being in the strong culture but whatever foolish being out of it. it becomes a little bit of a joke to me. i'm sorry but it's quite a joke. i used to be one popular chameleon last time so i guess i have the right to call what i used to be a joke? hahahahah yeah that's what i think. seriously, ain't it sad when one is plucked out of that strong cultured environment into a foreign land and loses all that he or she has built in his/her foundation for all that time in the cultured? people have been coming to ask me how to stay connected. ahaha it's quite a question to ask in the first place. honestly i don't know... i just do. just do what Pastor says, get into what the church is into and that solves the problem i guess (: but i wasn't mean la, i told them how to and i hope it helped them (: (: (: love them so much. well that's about it (: we have to be strong if not it gets a little irritating sometimes :p hahhahahahahahahah forgive me but yeah... put some steel into our being. gdnight & gdbye! zone stayover is going to be fun! yeah i'm dying now. slept 2 hours yesterday night! hahahaha i am crapped up today.
